College football teams used the Halloween holiday to mock opponents after Saturday and Sunday games in Week 9 of the 2026 season. Several programs posted graphic images and captions on social media to taunt defeated rivals, blending seasonal themes with specific game details.
Utah maintained its undefeated record with a 49-25 victory over Cincinnati. The Utes posted a graphic featuring a cracked-open door glowing red. A pair of football gloves was visible in the dark room behind the door. At the foot of the doorway sat a crushed can of Skyline Chili. The post included the text 'There's nowhere left to run' alongside the hashtag #RSNB.
Iowa defeated Wisconsin 30-0 on Saturday. The win extended Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell's losing streak against the Hawkeyes to four straight games. Iowa posted a tombstone graphic engraved with the final score and the Wisconsin logo. A Hawkeye mascot stood atop the stone. The caption read 'Buried the Badgers.'
