A wedding ceremony joined the Brewers championship celebration in Milwaukee on Friday.

Erin Harington and Casey Manders set up near a stop sign downtown and exchanged vows as fans lined the streets. Lindsay, a friend, officiated the ceremony. The couple popped champagne alongside the crowd watching the parade for Milwaukee's first World Series title.

Harington said the group assembled the ceremony quickly. "This is so spontaneous, like literally in less than 24 hours, and all of our friends rallied," Harington said. She added that family members who could travel to Milwaukee attended. Harington described the event as "exactly what we hoped for."

The two had gotten engaged earlier this year and joked that they would marry if the Brewers won the championship. Milwaukee's title run turned that plan into a decision made within a day. Manders said, "Why not just get married with the whole state of Wisconsin celebrating the craziest parade, the championship, why not?"

The couple has already discussed where they will travel next. Manders said they plan to attend spring training, saying, "We'll see you at spring training for our honeymoon."
