Atlanta Hawks fans saw their team prevail in a 108-104 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Monday night at State Farm Arena. The Hawks relied on strong perimeter shooting to outlast a visiting squad that arrived in Atlanta without key starters.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker led all scorers with 34 points, a new high for his season. He shot 12 of 25 from the field and connected on 9 of his 15 three-point attempts. CJ McCollum recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 assists, distributing the ball to keep the offense moving against Indiana’s limited personnel.

The Pacers fielded a roster of just six players, the fewest for any NBA team this season. Indiana sat 11 players, including Tyrese Haliburton, who is recovering from a left hamstring strain. This marked the franchise’s shortest bench since 2004. Despite the thin lineup, all six Pacers who took the court scored in double figures.

Center Jay Huff led Indiana in scoring with 22 points. Guard Braden Smith contributed 19 points and 10 assists for his own double-double. The Hawks will travel to Washington on Wednesday to face the Wizards in their next scheduled game.
