Cornerback Ellis Robinson is cleared to play in Georgia’s upcoming game against No. 10 Ole Miss. The Southeastern Conference released its first availability report for the matchup, and Robinson was not listed as questionable or out. His status resolves a key uncertainty for the Bulldogs’ defense following last week’s win over Florida, where he left the field with a knee injury and did not play in the second half.
During that Florida game, corner Braylon Conley replaced Robinson and recorded an interception. Robinson has two interceptions, five pass breakups, and 15 tackles for the season. His return to the starting lineup adds depth to a secondary that has been managing various absences throughout the fall.
The injury report also lists three new players as questionable for Saturday’s contest. Tight end Elyiss Williams is listed with a lower leg injury after being rolled up in Georgia’s 27-8 victory over the Gators. Linebacker AJ Krouh is listed as questionable with an undisclosed injury. Defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye is also listed as questionable with an undisclosed injury.
Several other players remain on the report from previous games. Wide receiver Isiah Canion is probable with a knee injury. Running back Chauncey Bowens is questionable with a foot injury. Wide receiver Thomas Blackshear is questionable with a collarbone injury. Defensive back Tyriq Green is questionable with an ankle injury. Outside linebacker Amaris Williams is out with a knee injury.
Williams, who has seven receptions for 88 yards and two touchdowns this year, was listed as questionable after being injured in the Florida game. Bowens has been dealing with a foot injury since late September, when he played through a sprain. Blackshear has missed time with a collarbone injury sustained in late September. Green has been dealing with an ankle injury since a late-September game.
Georgia will face Ole Miss on Friday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m. The game is scheduled for Saturday, November 10, at 1:00 p.m. ET on CBS. The team will provide final updates on player availability in the hours before kickoff.
The availability report is the first official update from the SEC on player health for this matchup. Coaches will finalize their lineups based on practice participation and final medical clearances before the team travels for the contest.
