NBA Hall of Famer Dwight Howard has listed his Suwanee estate at $14.5 million, a figure that puts it among the highest-priced homes currently for sale across metro Atlanta.
Howard first offered the property for $11.25 million in early 2025. The listing came down seven months later without a sale. The home returned to the market in October 2026 at $14.5 million, a $3.25 million increase over the prior ask. Zillow ranks it as the eighth-priciest home on the metro Atlanta market. The property sits about 35 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta.
The residence was built in 2010 and sits on 14 acres. It contains 26,233 square feet of living space, 12 bedrooms and 21 bathrooms, counting 12 full baths and 9 half baths. That square footage is roughly 12 times the size of a newly built single-family home in the United States in 2025, according to U.S. Census figures.
The listing includes a 12-car garage, a private movie theater, a saltwater pool, a private lake, a basketball court and a full gym. The kitchen is designed in a resort style. The home's architecture, materials and craftsmanship are European-inspired, according to the listing.
Howard's representative, HomeSmart agent Jennifer House, said the larger listing is tied to work completed on the property. "We are simply not presenting the previous price," House said, describing the added work as improvements and upgrades. She said she is asking for appraisals based on what has been invested in the home over the past year. House declined to discuss the client's reasons for selling or any relocation plans, citing privacy and security.
The property last changed hands for $8.6 million in 2016. The buyer at the time was an LLC linked to Howard, according to property records. Howard was born in Atlanta and attended Southwest DeKalb High School, where he graduated in 2004. He played for the Lakers from 2016 to 2018 and joined the basketball team that won a championship during his time with the franchise. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2025 and most recently played in the NBA during the 2021-22 season. He is listed as a real estate broker and associate at HomeSmart.
The listing is marketed by HomeSmart. No sale has been completed on the property.
