Portia Bruner will host The Portia Show on FOX 5 Atlanta for the upcoming weeks, with a schedule that blends entertainment news with practical advice on health and relationships. The program airs live at 1 p.m. ET on weekdays. Viewers can also stream the broadcast on fox5atlanta.com and through the FOX 5 Atlanta and FOX LOCAL mobile apps.

The schedule for the week beginning November 2 opens with a conversation about television and motherhood. On Monday, November 2, actress Emayatzy Corinealdi appears to discuss her role as defense attorney Jax Stewart in the Hulu series Reasonable Doubt. She will talk about her early career strategy, which included playing her own agent to secure roles, and how she manages her professional demands while raising children.

Tuesday, November 3, focuses on the science behind weight loss. A physician on the show will explain the mechanics of GLP-1 medications and share details about her 15-year use of the drugs. A mother-daughter pair will discuss their personal experiences with the treatment, and a nutritionist will offer dietary advice for maintaining weight loss.

The theme of representation continues on Wednesday, November 4, as creative director Derek Blanks and plus-size model Cameron Boyland discuss their work in the fashion industry. They plan to address how they are changing perceptions of Black men in fashion and redefining body positivity.

On Thursday, November 5, three women will discuss the social aspects of aging. The group will share their personal routines and offer opinions on how society categorizes women as they grow older. The segment concludes with a runway show where the participants reveal their ages.

The week ends on Friday, November 6, with filmmakers David Greaves and Liani Greaves. They are completing a documentary project titled Once Upon a Time in Harlem that their father and grandfather began more than 50 years ago. The film features rare footage from 1972 that documents figures from the Harlem Renaissance.

The following week, starting November 9, shifts focus to relationships and recovery. On Monday, November 9, Dr. Stacii Jae Johnson, who works on the OWN show Put A Ring On It: Cheathab, will discuss the concept of radical honesty in relationships. She will analyze how this approach influences the decisions of individuals who have been unfaithful and will review fan feedback from the show.

Tuesday, November 10, features Reesa Teesa, an online creator and author who gained attention with her 50-part video series Who TF Did I Marry. She will address misconceptions about her life and discuss her upcoming book and television series.

Travel and health topics follow on Wednesday and Thursday, November 11 and 12. Travel curator Jamila Crawford Pécou and attorney Lisa Bonner will share tips for planning luxury trips and building friendships abroad. The next day, cancer survivors Paris Murphy and Javalle McAllister will discuss the importance of seeking second medical opinions after facing misdiagnoses. Board-certified gynecologist Dr. Julianne Adams Birt will join them to offer advice on advocating for one's own care.

The schedule concludes on Friday, November 13, with R&B singer KEM. He will discuss his new project Alkemy, a tribute to Al Jarreau, and his experience as an independent artist. He will also share news about his expanding family and the naming of a street in Detroit in his honor.
