The U.S. Senate race in Georgia enters its final stretch as the election is four days away. Both candidates traveled across the state this week to deliver their closing arguments to voters.

The campaign began with a focus on economic pressure for the Democratic side. Sen. Jon Ossoff spoke at an event in Atlanta designed to engage younger voters. He was joined by former Vice President Kamala Harris. Ossoff attributed high living costs directly to the Trump administration. He told the crowd, “It has never cost more in American history to fill up your truck, to power your home, to stock your fridge, to go to the doctor, never in American History.”

Ossoff has centered his messaging on defiance against President Donald Trump. His rallies this week included references to corruption, tariffs, and the Iran war. He positioned his campaign as a direct check on the executive branch.

Republican challenger U.S. Rep. Mike Collins took a different approach by focusing on his legislative history. He met with voters at a barbecue restaurant in West Georgia. Collins highlighted his work on border security and affordability. He told the room, “See, I went up there to make sure that your life is safer. Closed that border. Make sure your life is more affordable, voted for that, tax cuts on everything.”

More than 2 million Georgians have cast ballots in early voting. Recent polling indicates Ossoff holds a lead over Collins. Both candidates are scheduled to continue their campaigning efforts throughout this weekend.

The election will conclude on Sunday, determining which candidate will represent Georgia in the U.S. Senate.
