Rawlings announced the 2026 Gold Glove Award winners on Sunday, with two players from the Atlanta Braves on the list. First baseman Matt Olson and utility player Mauricio Dubón both received the honor for their defensive work this season.
Olson beat out Ty France of the Padres and TJ Rumfield of the Rockies to claim the award at his position. This marks his fourth Gold Glove, having also won the distinction in 2018, 2019, and 2025. The 32-year-old recorded 1,195 putouts at first base and committed eight errors, resulting in a .994 fielding percentage. Fielding Bible credited Olson with 11 runs saved, a figure that tied for the 12th most in baseball and ranked second among first basemen.
Dubón edged out Jared Triolo of the Pirates and Ildemaro Vargas of the Diamondbacks to secure the award for a utility player. He has now won the Gold Glove three times, with previous victories in 2023 and 2025. The 35-year-old played in 153 regular-season games and recorded a .971 fielding percentage across all positions he handled. He also posted a .620 batting average, tying him for the third highest among utility players in Major League Baseball.
Olson has appeared in 944 consecutive regular-season games, a streak that includes playing in 15 games this season while designated as a center fielder. His defensive consistency has kept him near the top of the league in reliability. Dubón's versatility allowed him to contribute at multiple spots, including second base, where he also appeared as a designated hitter in some games.
