Kamala Harris addressed a crowd of Fulton County Democrats on Friday night, offering a final message to party members just days before Election Day.

During a 25 minute speech, Harris focused on three main issues. She criticized the Trump administration for its stance on tariffs. She also targeted cuts to Medicaid and the current war in Iran. Harris told the audience that their work proves Democrats can win in the South when they invest in the region.

The former vice president named several Georgia candidates to the crowd. These included Democratic gubernatorial nominee Keisha Lance Bottoms and Senator Raphael Warnock. Both politicians had already spoken to the group earlier in the evening. Harris noted that local volunteers register voters, build coalitions, and knock on doors to win races that experts previously thought were unwinnable.

This speech is part of a wider series of visits by national leaders to Georgia. Former President Barack Obama, President Donald Trump, and Vice President JD Vance all recently traveled to the state. Trump made a stop in Perry where he promised to win the Republican House and Senate in record numbers. He described his party as crushing the radical left Democrats across the country.

Voters have cast more than 2.8 million ballots in early voting so far. This number represents more than 37% of registered Georgia voters. Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson said rural Georgia no longer feels like a solid red state. He told supporters that they must show up on Tuesday to ensure the state remains competitive.
