Water service resumed Sunday afternoon after a second break delayed the fix for a ruptured line.

Water is back on in the Clifton Springs Manor neighborhood.
DeKalb County utility crews finished fixing a broken 6-inch pipe at 2318 Clifton Springs Manor at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. The Department of Watershed Management said system pressure has returned to normal. No active outages remain in the area.
The repair took longer than expected. Crews first restored flow at 3:50 a.m. Sunday. They believed the problem was solved. A few hours later, they found more damage. Workers had to dig again and shut off service to the neighborhood once more.
Traffic controls were in place on Clifton Springs Manor during the midday work. County staff gave bottled water to residents while equipment operated on the street.
Residents may see cloudy or brown water from their fixtures as the system stabilizes. Utility teams told people to run taps inside and outside to clear private pipes.
Officials have not said what caused the rupture or how many accounts lost service. Residents with continuing issues can call the Watershed Department at 770-270-6243 or email dekalbwaterops@dekalbcountyga.gov.
