Homeowners in the Atlanta area are accusing a major national home builder of selling houses with defective plumbing. The group includes more than a dozen residents who say the problems started soon after they purchased their properties. They are seeking compensation for the financial burden caused by the recurring issues.

The leaks began approximately four years after these families moved into their new homes. The homeowners describe the situation as a costly nightmare, with repeated repairs necessary to address the failing pipes. They believe the construction quality of the plumbing systems fell below industry standards for relatively new structures.

In a separate segment, InvestigateTV+ examines the challenge of seniors deciding when to stop driving. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that older drivers face a higher risk of being involved in car accidents compared to younger drivers. The agency notes that these drivers are also more likely to suffer serious injuries in such incidents.

Aging experts stress that most older drivers lack a formal plan for the day they can no longer drive behind the wheel. Families often face difficult conversations about when a loved one should relinquish their keys, a process that carries significant emotional weight for all parties involved.

The program also highlights a local attorney named Sam Aguiar, who has practiced personal injury law since 2008. In December 2024, he began displaying motivational messages on billboards across the region. He has installed 60 of these signs to date, aiming to share positive messages with the community outside of the courtroom.

Additionally, Sabrina and Brenden Miller delivered 17 bags of comfort items to Oak Lawn Hospital. This annual delivery occurs on their son’s birthday. The items are intended for mothers of stillborn children in the hospital’s birth center, providing support during a difficult time.

Aguiar describes his profession as tough but rewarding. The billboard project represents his effort to bring hope to the local area through public displays. The various stories covered in the segment focus on practical issues facing families and homeowners in the region.
